Float Cabin for Sale
It’s a 2003 model, made by TankDreams and is currently in use in our home spa.
The room and tub interior dimensions are 88”L x 42”W x 76”H
Including the filter/pump housing, the exterior footprint measures 108”L x 54”W x 86”H. The spa typically holds 780lbs of epsom salt dissolved into 110 gallons of water.
The wired intercom system was replaced in 2019, the ozone/uv water purifier was replaced in 2017, and the Hayward filter is original but the pump was replaced in 2016 with a magnetic driven circulation pump. Included in the sale are extra pleated filters. There are overhead lights to make cleaning the interior easier and the float tub has underwater LED colored lights and speakers, which allow a person to customize their float experience. The solution is radiantly heated from a pad underneath the tub. The music system is made up of an amplifier and an equalizer, an iPod is not included.
The cabin is covered in cedar wood paneling and is sound proofed with dense foam core within the walls. The interior wall surface is FRP (fiber reinforced plastic). The cabin walls are framed structurally with 2”x 4”wood. When reassembling the float spa in it’s new home these surfaces can be remodeled with other types of materials if desired or the spa can be used as an open float room. To minimize evaporation of water the tub includes custom fit bubble pool covers.
We will drain and clean the spa however the purchaser will be responsible for arranging transportation and delivery and we prefer that the purchaser help to dismantle the cabin, because this will aid you in setting it up later. It is in fair condition, you may want to work on cosmetic issues and if you want to use this commercially then you should consider buying a new pump.
